Aaron Sobol, MD
Dr. Sobol is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist as well as a fellowship-trained Corneal
and Refractive Surgeon.
He specializes in the treatment of diseases of the eye including cataract surgery and
laser treatment for diabetes and glaucoma.
After graduating from Penn State Medical School, he went on to the University of
Maryland for a residency in Ophthalmology. In his final year at Maryland he was elected
to be the Chief Resident. After he finished his general ophthalmic surgical training, he
spent a year at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, for additional training in
LASIK and corneal transplantation.
He uses the LADARVISION 4000 excimer laser system for LASIK and PRK for
nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism.
